Lemon Poppyseed Biscuits

A quick and easy mixture of simple ingredients for a delicious biscuit, that is also vegan, gluten free and dairy free.


  • 1 1/2 cups almond meal

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil or coconut oil

  • 1 teaspoon of lemon, lime or orange zest

  • 3 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 teaspoons of poppy seeds


Preheat oven to 170 degrees C

Combine all ingredients and roll into 12 balls

Place on baking tray lined with parchment

Press each lightly with the back of a fork

Bake in the middle of the oven for 14 minutes or until golden
